The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses has completed its third iteration of the Next-Gen Family Businesses Training Programme, graduating 22 emerging leaders from family enterprises across the emirate. Operating under Dubai Chambers, the centre designed the programme to deliver the operational and strategic tools this generation needs to sustain and grow family-controlled businesses in a competitive global environment.
The curriculum targeted the core operational challenges that surface when family businesses transition leadership. Participants worked through family business governance fundamentals, board membership responsibilities, entrepreneurship frameworks, and strategic decision-making processes. The training also covered conflict resolution and communication skills, a practical acknowledgment that family enterprises must navigate the intersection of personal relationships and professional obligations. These competencies form the foundation for balancing the competing interests of family members, the business itself, and ownership structures.

Dubai Chambers itself is a non-profit public entity restructured in March 2021 into three specialized chambers: Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai International Chamber, and Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, all operating under the Dubai Chambers umbrella.
